Fortunately, these problems can be fixed. The Chicago Church has incredible resources in its staff and membership, which includes professional artists, musicians, techies, movie critics, engineers, developers, photographers, videographers, etc.

I would start with a branding strategy session to determine how we want to best tell the story of the Chicago Church of Christ. In this meeting we will determine if possibly a new logo is needed. The current logo seems fine, but nothing is off the table.

The four main areas of focus for initial development will be…

The Website – Updated and optimized to tell our story and facilitate in-person and virtual visitor engagement.
Google Analytics/SEO/SEM (including applying for the Google grant) to target active seekers
Social Media – Strategy to post multiple times/week – to target passive seekers
Implementing metrics to measure the efforts and make adjustments where necessary

I consider these the “vitals”. Once we have this updated and running, we can explore other ways of bringing people into our sphere of influence through blogs, vlogs, podcasts, etc. and our own CCOC app.
